yes, literally 1KG, takes 45mins to cook, and really too much. I myself can take down about 600g steak no worries. Usually my father cook at home for me. very good.

Black Angus?? Use to love that place especially at Orchard Parade Hotel (or is it Orchard hotel.. the place where RED CAFE is) but have since CONDEMN it when I had TERRIBLE service at their Fullerton branch sometime back.. never been back since... (complain to Manager, he also never apologise and told me that there is nothing he can do... WTF!!!)

I love steak.. best so far for me has to be Morton's!!!

Wife bought me there for my birthday 2/3yrs ago and we have been back there every 6mths since that visit..

I cannot eat beef because of religous reasons. But my wife likes lawry. She always gets her well done.

me love it medium well... that is if the Chef gets it right...

At some places, I have to ask for MEDIUM as I know they tend to overcook it.. but at restaurant where the chef has standard, I will order Medium Well..

Yes.... 'if the chef gets it right' is really important.
I like mine medium. I seldom eat steak at the better restaurants. But at the more budget places, say between $20 to $40 steaks, 40% of the time I get mine overcooked.

hahah... Looks like i m not alone...
Good and reasonable priced steak houses can get it wrong too... Not easy to find a place where u can get a consistent standard...
I hear that Sebastians at greenwood is not too bad... Havnt tried tat personally... Anybody have any feedback to offer?

                      Anyone tried Outback recently?

Their standards were dropping and dropping ... and so was the service, so I stopped going. That was 3-4 years ago... has it improved?

i think s'pore steak still not as "fresh" as it should be. the meat feels abit old, or maybe my mouth abit old?
