  • Would you trade a Sub C for the new Sea Dweller?

    Hi People

Just looking for some opinions here.

I don't like the Sub C because of the wider lugs. On the other hand, the SD is too thick for me.

    how to decide lah?

    appreciate some feedback.

    thanks

Same sediment; end up getting a GMT2. But now itchy over the blue face DSSD....

If it is the wider lugs you do not like, then it is not likely you will go for any of the current (newer) ROLEX sports model. Your preference seems to point to the older models like the Submariner 16610 or 14060M, etc.

Many years ago, I traded a M-series SD for another M-series LV.

I owned the SD for 2 weeks but couldn't take it because it has no cyclops. As I'm aging I really need the cyclops to read the date...

After I got the LV, I'm much happier.

It really depends on preference. I like the fact that it has no cyclops, but as per the previous comment it is a deal-breaker for some.

The new SD sits very nicely on the wrist versus the DSSD in my opinion. A very solid build for those finding the Sub a little too thin.

lost count of the number of times I've dropped by the AD to try on the SD4000. It just doesn't scream "Buy Me".......

As by the price of this SD.. I would rather top up to get DSSD.. At least it really stands out from all the rest. Anyway i dun think theres much of a price difference..

Not for me. I like the sub magnified date.

I guess its just down to personel preference...
I do like the new SD but can't really justify the cost to get one

Yes. I also like my 116610 with date, it's useful to me.

So have you decided? I'm looking to buy a 116600 as well.

The square lugs of the 116610 really turns me off which is why I got a 16610 instead.

Decided to hold on to my 116610. The SD4000 just doesn't sing to me.....
