  • Tag Heuer for Servicing

Hi bro, any idea where I can send a tag heuer watch for servicing?

Official TG service centre - Raffles City Tower, 32nd floor.

Others - JW Watch, Bezel The Watch Collectors Guild (look for Joni), Bonfield..think there's a thread here on where to bring your watch for servicing (if you don't want to go to TG service centre)

    cheers

servicing for watches like rollie is a MUST. it's a little like visiting dentist on a regular basis as compared to a overhaul due to extended period of neglect. I read this example from another rollie forum in the US.
            Remnants of my irresponsibility:
            "Foreign affections"
            1) Sinn U1-30 June 2007
            2) Rolex Sea-Dweller 16600 M series-23 Jan 08 (HER perpetual oyster )
            3) Omega Seamaster Chrono Diver 2225.80.00-25 Jul 08 (From Wife )
            4) IWC Top Gun Chrono-20 Sep 09
            What's NEXT?

What is the recommended period for each servicing?

I think tats if u wear it daily. It oso dpends on te nature of ur job/daily activities, meaning wat u always do when u r wearing te watch. For example, if u work as a chef n is mostly working in te kitchen/cookhse, n u wear te same watch daily, then it'll b gd to service it between 2-3yrs. As compared to someone who works only in an aircon office env n dont do menial chores, n some mre wears te watch 2-3 times a wk, then servicing can b done longer.

Its jus wat i think only. Thx.

For Tag, u can send it via their boutiques too.... they will internally dispatch it for servicing, and u can collect at the same boutique.

My 6000 series was serviced only once since my parents bought me that in 1997. It still works fine... But with my IWC, I intend to send it in between 3 to 5 yrs depend on usage and what do you do while wearing it.

Just changed my 2000's hr and min hands ( last month ), quite cheap as compare to the service charge. I think around $20 to $30 dollars only ( if i don't remember wrongly, lazy to check the receipt )

Servicing and Polishing for Tag Heuer

                          Hi guys,

Anyone has any lobang on where i can get my TH for a polish and service? Besides going to the TH service centre since that would be pretty expensive?
                          Approximately how much?

My TH is pretty scarred after many years of usage... So i was thinking if a polish can revitalize it to its former good looks hahaa..

                          Thanks!

                              TH servicing and cost

Hi all, my 10-year old (!) Tag Classic 2000 is running slightly slow (noticed it's 5min behind my other watches after putting on a winder about 2 weeks ago, so that's about -20+ sec/day?). Previously, it needed a good shake to get it going after power reserve has run flat, or else it will run slow.

Where can I send it for servicing and how much is it expected to cost?

                              Thanks in advance.
