Don't for the 7 speed DSG gear box for VW cars.. It isn't reliable at all with so much complaints worldwide. If u love the VW for the torque, go for 6 speed DSG but those are for expensive cars like Golf GTI 2.0 or Passat CC 2.0.
Honda on the hand is renounced for reliability but the Vezel, as I tried it, is more a 'point a to b' car as it is under power with a big body..

Look at budget and shortlist more choices ?

The 6DSG is very good, But the 2.0L models suck fuel.

Actually Vizel looks quite uninteresting though i like Honda in general. Go for the Golf if u haven't owned a European car brand before, You'll get used to the more solid ride quality,

Golf 1.4 if you looking for speed Vezel more for family really depend on your driving style, personally i vote for Golf 1.4 go for test drive bro feel it see which one you personally like.

fwiw I've driving the 2013 jetta, for like over 3 years now. and generally problems free. only real issue I had was the central lock, resolved by agent eventually.
real stable ride compared to the other jap or kor cars I tested when I was deciding on a new ride.

anyone sitting on the fence should really go and test drive all makes/models..

If your family do not have old member,go for honda vezel..
VW gearbox issue do not have too much problem IF you maintain and use proper gear oil.
For me,honda looks good & maintain cost r low,VW r mose exp.

it looks bigger
and its the new model in the market

1. Good fuel consumption
2. Low Maintenance cost
