for rolex pin holes models, you can use either of the following
    • bergeon 3135

    bergeon3135II.jpg
    • bergeon 6767-S

    bergeon6767-SII.jpg

for no pin hole models, i suggest the use of 6767-S

    bergeon 3135

    bergeon3135II.jpg

it comes with a mini-ruler which is useful to measure strap width when need arises

the pin end construction is not ideal, the original length is abit too long. as such it tends to break easily. however, with the right tools, the broken tip can be grind to a sharp tip again. that is what i did, save some money in purchasing new tips.

the fork tip groove is deep which makes it easier to work with other watches with leather straps in some cases. the thickness of the fork tip at times work to its disadvantage because it is hard in between the strap and lug of watch.

      bergeon 6767-S

      bergeon6767-SII.jpg

this tool can be use for rolex pin hole and no pin hole models

prefer holding 3135 compared to 6767-S which has textured grip.

the tip ends tend to unscrew itself easily if it is tightened using fingers.

the fork tip of 6767-S groove is slightly more shallow compared to 3135. it is has thinner tip which makes it easier to get in between tight space between strap and lug.

it also allows user to work with spring bars of rolex no pin hole models.

        generic tool

        genericbrandII.jpg

this is a generic tool that is cheaper compared to the bergeon tools.

it is shorter in overall length compared to the bergeon 3135 and 6767-S, it can be easier to work with for some people.

the fork tip groove is wider, it is not easy to work with no pin hole rolex models

Bro, I was thinking of buying a bergeon 6825-pf for date just. Is it the rite tool? I'm more confident with plier type tool. If can use, u know where to get it?

bergeon 6825 allows user to adjust 3 things

            the angle of fork tip
            the length of fork tip
the tension/width between the fork tips

            too much effort to use.

would recommend use of 7825 instead if you prefer bergeon brand. it is tweezer style. cost is similar. the advantage of the 7825 over horotec is that the tips are replaceable.

            https://shop.bergeon.ch/Catalogue/Im...mages/7825.jpg

there is also horotec tweezer that works similar to 7825.

for bergeon 7825 you can go to khateena at rochor centre.

a picture of thin spring bar with 3185

                    3185-with-thin-spring-bar.jpg

i would prefer the use of 6767-F with thin spring bar because use 3185, user have to push the tips all the way down to get a grip (reference to the top pic).

below is a picture of 6767-F with thin spring bar. notice the tips of the 6767-F is a closer fit compared to the 3185

a picture of thick spring bar with 3185. the tips of the 3185 provides a better grip on the spring bar. as the tips of 3185 is slightly thicker compared to the 6767-F, it provides a better grip.

Go to Carousell and search for springbar tools. There are a few types to choose from.

FYI, the original Rolex tool for cases with holes in the lugs is ref. 2100 (includes screwdriver for standard rollie links), and for cases without holes in the lugs is ref. 3200 (looks like pliers).
