It's not that they do not have technicians. It seems that they do not want to support the resale market in order to protect their AD's interest. Or perhaps they feel that it is a waste of time to provide authentification service? In my opinion this does not bode well for the brand. It is also the reason I gave Omega a miss. I was contemplating buying a new one from a local AD but decided not to if I will have difficulty selling it if the buyer can't get it authenticated. Resale value will drop not that its resale value is great to begin with. Ironic move on the part of the Swatch Group isn't it?
