    Some other tools I’ve DIYed…
Leather skiver made from an old metal spatula and head-knife made from an old butter knife. All sharpen and ready for use.

    More to come later…

Now I have my very own Manual Skiver. Designed and handmade by yours truly.

This is an adjustable skiver that can thin down to various leather thickness.

This is a close-up of the leather strap-end being thinned down (skive). It’ll fit up to 30mm width.

    What else do I need?

    Thx pegasi!
    And relac88, you are correct.
To learn about my new product, I've decided to make my own tools, suited for the way I wish to make my straps.

This is my version of an Edge Beveller

It’s supposed to trim the leather edge at a 45deg angle but I guess I made it wrong. It now cuts! Going for Version2...
BTW, this was made from a claw-type screwdriver…modified ten10 style!

    There’s more to come!

I think this is called a “Wing Divider” but mine is “Wingless”

This tool marks a stitching line parallel to the edge of the leather.
