  • IWC Leather Straps

i'm just curious to know what sort of straps you guys/gals use for your IWCs. well, apart from our dear friends with metal bracelets.. i personally own a spitfire mark xv, and i wore the very-pretty original strap for oh so long till i inevitably had to change it due to wear and tear. we really have got terribly hot and humid weather here.

i think it quite an injustice to a decent watch to wear it with a 40-60 buck strap, one that doesn't quite cut it in terms of looks. well i know one could always get the original strap or order from sirtoli or the like, but 200 plus to 300's quite a hefty sum eh?

so anyway i'm thinking of getting an original metal bracelet for my watch. its really more practical that way. would any of you know if i would be able to do so when i send in my watch for servicing? and the estimated cost of it..

I would recommend a croc strap from here.

You dont have to wait til servicing to buy the bracelet. Anytime you can place order at AD. It won't be cheap, I think at least around USD 1K for the bracelet. As for leather strap, if you are looking for the 'copy' of original IWC strap, can buy from here.

The straps are cut according to IWC's specs and the quality is very good

the soft straps from the top gun edition look nice... a pre-owned shop once quoted me 200+ for that (dunno if they will source from ad or not)...

i think everything in richemont was expensive but if u want the original, u have to pay for it.
wow 650 just for the buckle, then the 200+ for the strap the shop quoted can't be right... most likely is twice or thrice that amount

To bros who want to buy the IWC deployant buckle for BP, 3717, Portuguese Chrono (all share the same type of buckle/size), I bought it yesterday in HK for HK$ 2000 (SGD 380). I didn't check how much would it cost in Singapore.
