  • Big FAT Wrist

My FEMALE colleague wanted me to ask for more opinions on this forum before she makes up her mind.

In her own words, she describe herself as fat and short and has a big wrist for a female. So wat size of datejust should she buy for herself.

Thanks for your comments and opinions in advance!

          Wah... make me hungry.. hahaha

Joke aside. Slim wrist fat wrist, it does not matter much for female (imo).
It depends much on the lady's preference, the style/image she likes or wants to portray.

The 26mm DJ may be a little small for a bigger wrist. If she likes it small, the 'boy size' models may be more appropriate. And yes, we're talking about 32-33mm case. If not, the 36mm version will look better.

Sure bo? Skully instead of "ter-kar" uh, is some lady who has skinny and sexy wrists but it's just that she herself think that she is fat..... Anyways ask her go AD la, I am sure her wrists are small enough to fit the 13 links la...

26mm with 13 links, I can't imagine that ! Think I classified that as huge wrist.

That's what she thinks of herself? Fat short and big wrist? Most women think they are that but actually not. Hm...vice versa can happen to, I guess. What is your image of her? Exactly as she had described herself?

In any case, trend now is for many women to have big watches. 40mm at least. If your colleague is as she had described herself, then she is in luck as she can be in line with the trend. She should consider a bigger watch, instead of a 26mm datejust. Without the lugs extending beyond her wrist and the bracelet or strap forming an "O" instead of an "V", unlike wat I sometimes see on some ladies with really slender wrist but a monster 44mm and with lug to lug measuring over 50mm.

Hope the feedback from this forum will help her make a decision. And when that happens, get her to post pics lah. ;-)

If she indeed has "Large Waist" as well maybe you can try getting her to test on boy size 36mm. Or if not the slightly larger white Milgauss, i think that's nice and suitable too.

It is common to see ladies wear oversize watches nowadays. I came across ladies wearing 116613lb before and it looks good as well
