My preference if worn on the same hand is to treat these "arm-candies" as complimentary items to my watch, ie, think of them as petals to my watch's "flower".

i stick to smaller sized beads and the color will match mainly the strap color, clothes and sometimes the color of the dial.

Sometimes i wear my buddhist beads on my watch hand so i can wear something fashionable on the other hand.
