  • Cartier Santos XL in KL or HK

    Dear all,

Been looking to get a Santos for the longest time, and trying to find the best deal. Is it cheaper to buy in KL or HK? The discount in Singapore not a lot in the ADs.

    Tks for the help!

cartier is under richemont. there is not verification by Richemont.

So for all pam and cartier lovers buying from this forum, nowhere to verify the authenticity of the units traded here except belief in all the bros here or based on experience?

Sorry if I sound green bros

Heard that ** watches perform authentication services but not sure if they do it now and also the type of watches they are able to authenticate.

I got mine from a local AD at a very good discount… remember cash is king and you have to convince the SA that you are not "undercover"…times are bad… given the right circumstances and instead of the SA persuading you to buy, you have to persuade him to give you his true rock bottom price.

That being said, purchasing direct from an AD will definitely be slightly higher than grey market dealers. However it beats purchasing from the boutique themselves with a peace of mind that it is truly an authentic piece *just my 2 cents*

The level of discount depends on the sales staff if you are getting from AD. For grey market if it comes with the correct package it would usually be fine. There are tell tale signs if it is a fake.
