All depends on the MF who took you wanna let you go or not whether for 1st offender or not. Expressways speed limits are misleading, some parts 90km/h, some parts 80km/h. Got kenna for going 92km/h b4 at AYE near Tuas part, there 80km/h despite big & free roads.

Think generally depends on their monthly KPI. If they're having a slow month, the only thing you can say is suay.

From experience, best not to justify. Just apologise sincerely and say you were rushing for client meeting or something similar.
Promise not to do it again and best if you have a clean record for the last year at least.
Either go down personally to appeal or write a hand-written letter.
          Both usually help your case.

before the road works started. I always bypass @ around 90 so many years.

after the road works stared, I always bypass @ around 100.

that is if traffic conditions permit.

Seriously, the camera would not start clicking just 0.001 above the speed limit. Surely theres a threshold.

Can hijack the thread to have both discussion concurrently? What about traffic light camera. I have seen the traffic camera in malaysia flashed even on broad day light when triggered but in sg I have never seen it flashed. Is it guaranteed kena if u cross the line when light just turned red (even if less than 1 sec)? Have any of u guys seen traffic camera flash?

our car's speedometer is 5-10km/h faster than the actual speed so you're probably safe.

Singapore camera flashes in the day too.
I've seen it myself. Very bright.

That's red light. Don't remember seeing speed camera snapping.
People rarely go above speed limit until it snaps when passing speed camera.

                      Mobile squad no flash.

100km / per hour is safe, just don't exceed 100km/hr.

whenever it stated 90km/hr limit, there's 10km/hr allowance.

Ya .. quite reasonable to think so too.

So far encountered at least 3 occasions when I exceed by less than 10km/hr .. but luckily no letter so few

Bro Watcha is correct. I ever seen the flash during the day. To your question, you won't kana if u cross the line when the light just turn red. If I'm not wrong, there is a few seconds grace. But I might be wrong. Cause sometime I "accidently" cross when the light just turn red.
