One more, ss version of sky dweller. Even if that happens, I'll still not be able to afford one...Hahaha. Look at how much a ss YM cost. :-P

From my recollection and also the historical changes made by Rolex, changes usually happens from the precious metal versions than followed by the ss versions. With the ceramic now on the gold Daytona (not all models), next might be the tt versions than followed by the ss versions.
But than again, Rolex might spring a surprise. ;-)

Wish List for SIHH/Baselworld 2014
As 2013 draws to an end, I can’t help but look forward to the news/pre-news of watches to be launched in the new year. Very soon, rumors and leaks of what the various manufacturers are cooking will start to show up in the internet world. Since I am clearing leave at home, I thought I would kick start some discussion by starting a wish list of what you and I hope to see in the coming year, during the SIHH/Baselworld 2014.
I try not to be greedy and limit my wish list to 3 watches...
Upsize of Seiko SKX007 diver (and its series)
This classic Seiko diver has been around for 18 years now without any change in its design & spec. It is definitely the most popular among all divers, if not among all watches, in the sub $200 price segment. It might therefore seem stupid to change something that has been so successful, especially when the development cost is likely to impact the competitiveness of its equally well received price. In my opinion, an increase of 2mm to 3mm in its case size would push its popularity up a level. Replacement of the old entry level 7 series movement with the new entry level 4 series movement could be a natural process - the additional hacking and hand winding function would be welcome by consumers and justify a slight increase in price.
Tudor Pelagos in stainless steel material
I believe there are a lot more people who prefer SS watches over titanium watches for a few reasons – look, feel, and maintenance. The first ever titanium watch by Tudor/Rolex commands focus and attention, hence I would not be surprised that Tudor strategically delay its launch of SS version of the Pelagos a year later (or is that my wishful thinking?). A SS Pelagos with deep blue dial/bezel would surely be a hit!
New dial for Rolex SS Daytona
I said last year (or was it the year before?) that the black and white dial of the SS Daytona looked very tired. It is obvious that the popularity of SS Daytona has dropped in the recent years (don’t believe those sellers who still tell you they are hard to come by), amidst rest of sport models who all have had significant enhancement. A facelift of the SS Daytona is way overdue (I don’t really mind 40mm or 42mm), and a set of Paul Newman dial on the regular SS Daytona would be all Rolex lovers’ dream.
Do share your wish list here, but please stick to watches and no lame wishes like Rolex reducing its prices or strike Toto/4D.
