Bro, it all boils down to what you wanna do at the end of the day. I realise it's a lil early in the day to be saying you wanna be a scientist/lawyer etc...but identify what really turns you on and go towards it...be it arts/ sciences/ etc...
So if going to poly affords you a way in...do it! The converse is true...
But i gotta tell ya, my JC life was a blast! I mean, im sure the poly guys had fun too, but i wouldnt know...i was going from an all boys school to suddenly having girls talk to me when they're not asking me to pay them back $! Heh.
Im quite sure ACJC will be a blast for you. In fact, dammit, i envy you!
I see...I see...
I am also from an all buys school..eh how come u know I am from ACS?
i took my "A" level then went to poly for 2 years to get biz diploma (exemption 1 year cos of "A" level) cos couldn't get to the faculty i wanted after my "A" level...then another 2 years to get my honors (granted some exemptions cos of my dip). 6 yrs in total (same as those who took "A" level then 4 yrs honors course). But i got extra dip cert with the same time spent..
Eventually, got a place in NTU for Masters in Mass Comm but overslept (all b'cos of overnight mahjong..hahaa), didn't submit the cert and etc on time so missed out on that. Then started working until now....
This is a very important time of your life....mess it up and you may end up like me now selling newspapers...
hehe i'm quite happy with my job...cos new environment... yet i still queue up buy toto/4d...hahahaaa...
but i think studying is still the best time of anyone's life....cos working can get sian... u spend about 10 - 15 yrs studying on average....but u gotta work all your life... hmnnn
Hmm...seems like every1 tells me this..including my bro he just started working about half a yr ago. LOL!

No matter what course you choose for your career path is the same. Only one word "sian". Working is sian one, otherwise you won't be seeing long queue at lottery/ TOTO booth liao. You seldom see people happy with their job although there are a few, very few.

JC first then Uni. Guys should take the shortest route to a Uni cos you've wasted 2 years in NS. If you go poly first (3 yrs) then go Uni (2 years)..total 5 years.
If you go JC then Uni, total 4 yrs. You save 1 year to earn $$ to pay off your study loan (if you're taking one) or purchase another watch...1 year shorter to get your dream watch...motivated now??
cheers

Darkie.. by the way, I think you actually already decided from the way you replied some of our posts.... Think you are like what I was doing, trying to gather from the brothers advice here... to get a vote of confidence so that I dare to make a decision.. (in my case.. the portuguese purchase ) and for you to persue a course of life where you are worried off..
Guys.. give our little Padawan more realistic advice lah... he already confuse enough, you all still deviate from his question... kekekek
