should see the rates for insurance in Oz, the charges are criminal So just take risk and wear with no insurance. Otherwise keep in safe deposit box, but even that is no insurance. Cos if the building collapse, your belongs are bye bye. Gone for good.

come to medical field they take advantage of your sickness. When my father in hospital before (I just got my DL), I would go to my local chemist to buy the medicine, and give the DR some "gift" so that i can get my hands on the prescription.
That way, I save $$$ and the hospital chemist not happy because their prices were artificially inflated.

ya loh, if i buy from the local drug store, they already make a percentage outta the price leow... but hospital, smae thing charge u another couple of times higher ... robbery.

eh of cos pte more ex le, shorter waiting time, drs are consultant no small fry dr le, of cos more ex lo. But seriously now must get insurance if not once sick dats it. There's a saying, can die but cannot fall sick

actually, the doc & consultant fees ok, it's the hospital bill tht , 1 wk abt 50K leow ( jst hospital bill nia, excl doc fee ). we ask for detail print, normally we buy $2+ can of milk, they charge $6+ dollars ... .. no wonder the phramacy charges alone = 20+ K.
