Why do people wear fake watches?

I would buy the cheap classic red and blue seiko watch which would cost me 2-3 hundred bucks and it would last me a long long time then buy a fake and have it break down in 6 mths and cant sent for repair. Its like very waste money leh.

Because an insurance agent who wears a 'rolex' is way better than wearing a real seiko watch <--- coming from a real insurance agent friend who works at AIA. Wonder if anyone finds his 'rolex' amusing. Seriously, I wonder sometimes.
