gucci sale starts with 30% then 50% then 70% markdown. but the 70% normally is for old stock as far back at 2002. ha.

for vips. maximum is 10%. have to spend i thik $40 000 in one year to get VIP.

as for TR jeans. really ah? I like the super thick stitching. it comes out easily? aiyo. then dun want already lah. haha. save up for my watches better.

I think dun have 50% or 70% liao leh. Better to check with gucci SAs again. Maybe can ask when is their sale? But sale also no use, dun think classic stuffs on sale hor. Probably cruise collection or spring/summer type.

Kate Spade n Burberry also 10% for VIPs. Think this is the standard rate. As to how much to spend, think it differs.

Yep my TR jeans stitching came out. darn waste of $. Mayb u try SFAM... very comfy! I ditch almost all my Levis after I discover dis brand..

Yah eyeing a few brands for watch, but will decide when I've saved up enough moolahs. Still got graduation trip to fund... sigh.

tPF got machiam the garage sale thread one i tot? only for selected members( usually those vvv regular ones) Maybe can get some bags/wallets at good prices.

Nah...Gucci is more flexible compared to LV. LV no discount or sales 1. I read that David Gan has 10% discount on normal days...lol that's why I suspect the VIPs get discount on normal days haha. Otherwise I also dunno

I like LV leh.. but dun own any wallets cos must really take care, else after few years the leather will turn sticky and look so yucky.

I like Bottega's wallet.. But must wait until I start work and get a watch then can aim to buy that.

hey. found lobang for jeans and stuff. you can order from revolveclothing.com. first time buyers get 30% i think. ha. and its cheaper cos the prices are in USD. hmmm.

shoes: normally i get from tangs studio. quite good shoes for around $400 each. sometimes got 70% off. Great steals. I heard Gucci is very lasting.

shirts: Normally just Zara and Ted Baker.

jeans: Levis, Evisu but sometimes can find cheap ones at haji lane.

wallets: gucci. only.

urbanemperor, i also like a few TR jeans. But those super ts, stitchings very fragile leh. Mine came out after a few washes. So for TRs I get the normal type (also cheaper than super Ts or Big Ts).

Btw, Gucci still got 70% off ar? In the past got, but I thought now the max is 30% liao. I hope I'm wrong..

I was a LV fan,but recently gave up that for Prada. Coz their service is crap and price increase faster than rocket.

Went to Prada...great service and much cheaper than LV lol.

Recently 1 of my tPF member bought a Prada that looks something like the LV Neverfull...swee leh my mum also likes! Maybe can get that for her for Mother's Day

Shirts.. no need all to be branded la.. can mix some Zara, some cheapo, some CK, some Burberry
Jeans.. DKNY has good prices if you know where to find.. Dolce & Gabbana rocks in this section
Shoes.. Again.. no need to spend too much on this.. Geox is good...


I find that now, with the dropping USD... buying online is much cheaper than buying locally... of course the sizing would be a prob tho...

Hmm...I think my style is abit like yours. Except that shoes...I either go for cheapo or something nice lol

I think certain things dun really need branded la...certain things can...haha.

1 more thing to add! Polo tees....mine I have mainly RL,Burberry and FP.
