Of course, what you pay is what you get... If other makers can make good dials, why not yours? But in GENERAL most rep and homages that I've found the lume is not on par with GEN. You want a headlight for the lume, I'd rather get casio...
This is not flaming but just making a comparison between the GEN market and REP market... Gen market demanding high price due to workmanship skills, tax, shop rental, ads & middleman. Some of us cannot afford, so turn to Homages which is similar but the price is at a fraction of the GEN. I have many homages & few GEN. Just be contented with what you have. All is well.
Cheers,
Jay

These are jus my own personal opinions.

The different besides price is the build quality. Panerai really build very solid clean watches. The movement also swiss made but I think it is too overpriced, so I sold off my PAM 104J. Compared to homages, it feels the same IMO. But when night time comes, it shows that the GEN will outshine the REP. The lume on the homages dial are pathetic. If they could just do something about it, I think they will be much more popular. Price increase will be justified accordingly... Just my 2cents. Just be happy with what you wear, be it a GEN or REP. As long as it fits the budgets, got the looks and you are happy with it, that's fine with me...
Cheers,
Jay

Yes m also curious to knoe. Cos' te price diff is very great comparing a homage & a pam. So if quality, weight, look, movement, feel do not surpass a homage very very much, then its really paying for the brand name more than anything else.
