    Act of god??
So by having high annual pay means going against the ppl and gg against god's will...
maybe its BY GOD'S WILL at coming GE... Things may change this time round.

    What SGporeans expect too much??
We expect things to be prevented, to be solved, and not expect excuses n excuses n explainations thru taichi.

Of cos no free meals for us definately!
The high paid assbrains got all the freebies liao!

Really a million dollar answer sia.
The 1st investigation is to cover their ASSBrain incompetency.
2nd and 3rd time of reinvestigation is to tell us.....vote wisely!

" Building owners and managing committees have also been encouraged to improve their communication and evacuation procedures as part of their emergency response plans for flood incidents.

In addition, Dr Yaacob said PUB has invited the businesses to participate in its SMS alert system so that they will be alerted of high water levels detected by sensors in Stamford Canal.

He said PUB will look into extending this flood alert system to the public.

PUB will also be making the data from its water level sensors available to the public on a website."

Seemed to me that PUB is shifting responsibility to other entities to share the burden.

If they set up the alarm system, and it alerted the business/building owner that a flood is coming, and the business/building owner did not do or could not do anything, then who is responsible? So PUB hands off once they alerted the people? This is not right.

PUB build the drainage system. The drainage has a problem - not deep enough, not wider enough, not fast-flowing enough. They just have to fix it. Period.

How come suddenly their problem becomes other people's problem? Why don't they just admit their mistake and work on implementing a solution to address the actual problem - which is flooding, instead of doing all the wayang?
