for me....none of the above as there are just too many variations of the same watch. I would instead go for the new AP ROO diver...

Diver's non-chrono. Prob gonna be a fad model like many of the boutique editions. Get a standard black Roo - everygreen model

I agree...only piece that's worth keeping and with good resale value will be the Survivor.

From your list, Safari and Panda are the more popular ones...

True. I am a true example. Bought the Blue Scuba from Boutique (you all know the price right....no disc as it's special boutique bla bla)

When it was time to sell.....you all also know the price right.

So, it's resale value is on par if not a little worst then regular APROO.

Not the only piece that holds good value but one of the few pieces. Those that hold value also high value.

                    AFAIK...

                    1. RB2 Ti
                    2. EOD
                    3. F1
                    4. Team Alinghi
                    5. Survivor
                    6. T3

Many of the boutique ones like Orchard, Rue de honour, Napolean, Taipei, B.Bingtan, Ginza, pride of china/argentina, plus masato, (cricket player) etc all will fade with time......

One reason...just too many! and all essentially same movement and just play with colour/material.

Just buy to wear and expect nomal dep then choose the Panda or theme. I had wanted the Volcano for a long time but when put on wrist, it looks like will get sick very fast...not timeless.

                    All just my view

Thanks for all the replies. But I guess pans are just very diff from ap. When it comes to pams. There's plenty of disscusions.

                          My personal view is.......
I have before a white and black rubberclad, white and black themes in bracelet, 1st generation blue themes.

Just met up with my regular dealer today, shows me both the Safari and Volcano... finally bought my dream watch Volcano (brand new) from him.

All in all i think the Volcano really stands out, the unique look which when one glance you will know is AP VOLCANO even from far....haha
Of course the other special editions like T3, EOD, survivor are nice but too high a price to pay. Boutique edition is too overpriced and is just dial difference from the regular edition not worth paying premiums.

Watchlink has got one Volcano for sale, 6 months old at $19250, bro Metank you might want to check it out.

Haha bro Metank ... $$$ is slightly cheaper than Watch Arena price.
So can save abit $ also better than nothing la
Actually wanted the Watchlink Volcano but i can only do trades and trades i gonna lose on my watches and than buying the Volcano will be too expensive, my regular dealer at least take in my watch at higher price so i don't mind getting new. It works out the same in the end but at least i got a brand new piece..
