Itwoplus is at S$82.93 x 24mths = S$1,990.32 for two yr contract on plan but tat is regardless whether u sign for iphone or others.. so i don't see y need to factor this..

16GB iPhone gona cost S$208 but apple announced the phone gona cost at US$499 x 1.4 = S$698.60

So to me, simple minded view, they subsidise S$698.60 - S$208.00 = S$490.60.

Am I missing something????

singtel offers 205/mth for 24 mths and the phone is free. this means a whopping 4920 by the time the contract finish

if lowest plan of 15/mth it means the phone should cost 4920-360 = 4560 upfront
if highest plan of 192.6/mth it means the phone should cost 4920-4622.4= 297.6 upfront

this is because the subscriber will already be commited to paying the full subscription rate for 24 mths.

im on iTwoplus meaning i would pay 1990.32 anyway, which means i would have to pay 2929.68, this is more than twice the amount i pay for my e90. ridiculuous pricing i say.
