  • Worth paying premiums for new Sub LV???

    Hi,

Any advise should I buy the new Sub LV ceramic? I just bought a TT Sub blue ceramic a few months ago, so as to match my GMT-Master II black ceramic. I do like the green ceramic bezel with the sunburst dial.

My regular AD always advises me not to pay premiums for a watch as it will cool down soon. But I just afraid would it be like the old Sub LV which... by the time it's selling at list, the list price would be same or higher than the premium price paid a few years ago, assuming Rolex's regular price increments and inflation etc.

Meanwhile, 2 more advises... which watch I should buy now? Daytona SS white or Sub LV gree ceramic? If I go to HK, worth buying Rolex? Thanks.

Be patience. Premier sure go away...only don't know how fast. But looking at the impending slowing in the economy, won't be too far away.

All recent years new releases go the same way.....milguass, daytona, sub LV, DSSD, GMT2C etc.

        1. NOT worth the premiums.
        2. Of course buy daytona lah if you can afford and not already have one
        3. My experience is HK is cheaper than SG, AD vs AD

            Do consider the hulk!

I think they really did the dial very well in this case such that the watch does not look too green but yet striking due to the changes in the colour tone.

So far, the dial has caught the eyes of some of the people around me and they all liked it

            Happy watch shopping

                Never worth paying a premium

IMO, it's never good to pay a premium over the normal retail price.
The novelty of being 'one of the first' to own a certain watch very soon wears off and then you may soon regret not waiting.
