I have seen some of their nice watches on sale and it is stated that these watches have warranty stamped Nov 2014 which is practically brand new. I am just wondering if these watches are preowned (the owner decided to give up 1-2 weeks after wearing them) or are they brand new from a local or overseas AD?

    Some advice will be helpful.
I bought from Chuan Watch before, and the service is impeccable. Actually if you compare 5 years back when there are not that much participation in forums like sgrolexclub, dealers then have a much snootier attitude. So rest assured, most of the reputable dealers highlighted in sgrolexclub are actually pretty trustworthy and provides pretty good service. They wouldn't risk their business over a sour deal *cough* Jover Chew *cough*.

Just bought a 1-year old air king over the weekend. Pretty good experience, not pushy, approachable boss and staff.

Hi jamester. I don't think future resale would be that much of a concern for me. Theirs was I think the first website I was looking at for watches here in SG, there are definitely a few in the price range and style I'm looking for. Thanks for the reply!

You can check out the watch pieces on their website which is very comprehensive. If the website watch description doesn't mention box and papers, it's likely it doesn't have. I had the same concerns as you and I called them up to clarify.

Their newer rolex models usually have box/papers but the older ones usually don't have. They would have checked the watches so should be quite safe to buy those without box/papers. A bigger concern would be whether it affects the resale value later on.

auntie was very friendly and patient showing me some watches.

i'm curious though, and I know this is a little off topic (and maybe sort of an opposite-lobang), but do second hand dealers raise their prices close to the formula 1 weekend to capitalise on the tourists?
