Just came back from Beijing last night and there were AP ads all over the airport.
Somehow Omega seems to have a stronger presence there though, saw a number of Omega boutiques but didnt see a single Rolex boutiques there.Comment

I was at Cartier ION and Taka last weekend, it was mostly mainland chinese making purchases. Same for the rest of the shops like Cortina, THG. Gosh, they really have got the moolah to spend and in CASH somemore!Comment

not limited to just in sg; but pretty much everywhere else the mainlanders go, their display of wealth is shocking. one coffee shop in perth newly opened. everyday without fail i see a ML65 and a 911 GT3 parked outside the shop. can also see the mainlanders outside lah kopi.

I was in HK 2 mths back and I noticed the same thing. High end watch and fashion boutiques all flooded with mainlanders. I can't deny that they are loaded with $$ but they are crass.1 3 5
