Came across these articles in our newspapers. Both are in the Straits Times, today and yesterday:
Article 1 - ST Life! (today)
"Get in the ticker of action" (pg11)
Story about getting the right watch for physical training/exercising. Few models with prices are introduced, namely CASIO CHF-100-1VDR($185), TIMEX T5C401($223.60). BEURER PM100($449) and POLAR RS800sd($869).
Article 2 - ST Science (yesterday)
"Invention is doc's true calling" (pg D11)
Story about a doctor and his ahievements in his profession. The main point I'm highlighting is his passion for watch collection. I quote, "Each milestone, whether it has been accreditation by the United States Food and Drug Administration, or when the King and Queen of Jordan wore his watch, is celebrated with a new watch - he now has 40 in his collection. While he has one-of-a-kind models handmade by a Swiss master over nine months, the most precious in his collection is the porcelain black Swiss RADO he got over 10 years ago, during a trip to Italy, to learn about laser surgery."
