  • Which one?

    hey guys,

need some opinions here...i'm contemplating to get either of these but still undecided....let me know your thoughts please. I can only afford one....

    1. Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo (inhouse movement) - diameter 39/40mm
    2. Breguet Transatlantic XXI Flyback (inhouse movement) - 42mm
    3. Carl F. Bucherer Chronograde/Traveltec (modified ETA) - 40mm and 44mm respectively
    4. Vacheron Constantin Overseas (JLC movement) - 42mm

all these watches cost around the same after disc...

    cheers

I would pick AP, plain, simple, iconic and probably better resale value

I like Breguet Transatlantic XXI Flyback's movement but watch design a bit old.... in the end voted fro AP for its classic and everlasting design....

out of the 4, the only iconic design is the RO... and instantly recognisable from a distance.......

not only is the look sporty but the reasonably slim case makes it suitable for the boardroom as well

          movement is undoubtedly top-notch .....

          that's what i think....

            funny...no VC's fans??

AP RO Jumbo is 39mm..it's the size that kinda bothers me a bit...although my JLC RDM is only 38mm (but it's a dress watch)

            cheers

aiya bro, cos i can only afford to buy 1 now and i kinda like them all in no order of preference...so cracking my brain what to get first...to be honest, there're so many watches i want...sigh....but my new 5 slots watch box can only accommodate 5 watches so must be very very selective....maybe will stop buying after this watch box is fully occupied....

I say go for the VC or the Carl Bucherer.

AP's just not the same when its small.
