I intend to buy a watch for daily use, I am not too sure about maintenance but I would prefer a robust strong watch that can tolerate my careless knocking on tables, railings, doors. I am also looking to keep the watch, no intention for now to sell it.
I apologized for my non detailed message above, I am looking for swiss watches. Prefer chronograph with date, automatic movement. Open to any brands. Open to new or pre own conditions. Prefer size of 40 to 42mm, 45mm is out. Prefer a classical looking watch for office wear, non sporty type. Looking at stainless steel bracelet, not with leather strap.
Tough... Chrono + Bracelet.... Yet not sporty...

IWC pilot chrono? Got day and date and 7K can get you a brand new piece but in leather strap.

My IWC Galapagos would bea nice one. Only things is its over 7k unless I wear it for another year or 2 more. Ha. Joking.

For 7k used, can get any Rolex or Pam chrono. Maybe a used IWC aqua timer 3717.
