    It's individual preference.
Not forgetting, this is a watch forum, a Rolex forum.
Some people seek that thrill and limelight from flashy sport cars or thunderous exos notes.
While some feel a car is only a form of transportation from point A to B.
Likewise, some people think watch is only an equipment to tell time; some don't even bother to wear a watch as they know time from their phones. Furthermore phones can even do auto time zone adjustment like a GMT watch.
So it all voice down individual thoughts.

    watches!

get to admire your own watch collection at the comfort of your home..
need no "scrap" after 10 years..
more or less they are assets.. (best if its appreciating)

    Mid-life - Mercedes E/BMW 5 and Lange/Patek
Towkay - Lexus and Rolex with diamonds

Somewhere along the line, a Porsche and Richard Mille will also be nice.

haha.. a good indication.. Had been in a fixtoo.. A nice watch is a definite. A Nice car would really depends how much u need it or can afford it with ease.. I guess..
