So far best discount i can get is 18% from Penisula...

Can try WP & THG @ LP, usually they give 20% for datejust ( C.C payment ),
if pay by cash they may give 1 to 3% more discount.

sports model: some model no discount, some model 10 to 15% and some model must pay premium

ya totally agree with you.. anyway im recently back from HK and the rolex there arent really that cheap compared to SG...their subbies and SD cost slightly higher at retail price.. i didnt ask to see or ask for discount.. coz i cant speak cantonese and they all look like waiting to 'carrot' me...

perhaps cantonese friends here would get better deal... next time i'll try JPN..

but i no rolex so a bit buay tahan..the more i see..the more gian i am...

I just came back from HK last week and gotten myself the 116710. I check out the price for the SUb 16610 & 16610 as well before deciding which one to buy. I checked 4-5 different AD at TST, Central, Wong Kok and all quoted same price and some give 8% discount on the Sub 16610 not the 50th aniversary model....I can tell bro here that the price you pay in HK is about S$1k cheaper.....some up to $1.5k if you compare to the price from Hour Glass here....

now frequent jp, so base on their prices. but so far, after some calculation:
eg. subbie, SD, exp2, can save abt 18% to 30% from spore list.

i thnk mainly due to the following:
1. sg AD dont give much discount off sport model.
2. 7% GST ( buy overseas got tax refund or no tax).
3. exchange rate.
( their list price is acutally slightly lower thn spore, i think due to exchange gain & tax )

bro, me going to japan end of the month leh .. thinking of getting my first rollie over there .. (exp2 or subbie w date) .. really cheaper than sg ?? any shops to recommend ??

i think u should buy locally lah, either new or preown. it's always safer & easier to get it in sg lah...

want more savings hor, nxt few pcs got chance thn slowly slowly look overseas lah.

I think its a free mkt. No prob la. Sometimes its a bit of hardwork n luck. Some get higher price; some lower. At te end of te day, jus b happy n contended for te money spent for wat u wan. Cheers!

the first few pcs, i never shop ard, go in buy leow, happy can leow.

but now change leow. cos was thinking, wow, buy a few hor, savings can get another 1 free. or jst in case buy leow dont like, sell away maybe still make $$ if purchse at gd price.

guess, buying 1 or 2, stick to local can leow lah.. if those really collect them and with at least 5 - 8 pcs, better shop shop slowly, wait for opportunity thn pay higher or at times a premium. ( like my friends always said, u already own rolexes leow, why rush to buy another 1, jst wait/ source for good price thn buy lah ). u want rolex, relax lah, co wont close down, but prices up & down... best adv i get ...

Think singapore no longer provide good prices leow. i tried dickson at paragon, offer me a sub 16610 at $7900; $31 off; i ended up buying a brand new pc from a bro here at 1k less

service important, but so are prices; i usually try not to walk into a rolex AD in singapore, cos too much hassle.

Got my 16610LV at 8.1k nett overseas ( at list after tax refund _ bought it at dept store, if given the time, i think i should be able to shop & ask for discount, should get it abt S$7700 ). For my next trip will eye one of the following: SD ( S$5720nett ), and Exp2 ( S$5050 nett ). Given the above pricing, alot of savings.
