Why on earth do people always blame iphone for their crappy pics posted on the forums? Is iphone camera really that bad? I had my first point-and-shoot camera like 10 years ago...think it was either 2MP or 3.2MP but took pretty sharp pics. Surely the camera module of iphone can't be worst than the technology 10 years ago?

Obviously I am not an iphone user otherwise I would have the answer...

In all honesty, iPhone 4 and 4s cam pictures are gd enough to replace the low end compacts, basic usage wise. Well if u buy low end compacts u are a basic user also

Ya loh. I think very much also depends if one has the heart to want to do a good job, like choose a place with good lighting condition to do the shoot etc. My son can take pretty good pics with his hp to post on FB.

Saw someone posted pics of watch for sale here where the watch is totally off focused Can't help but wonder if that was done intentionally...

My first digi was 1.3mp.

I think the my iPhone 4 takes better pict than then.

However it suffers serious noise in low light.
