If can learn to service Rolex watches it will be great(eg oiling). You save alot of money $$$$$.

bro don't need to wait so long la! Get some info from the net and buy a cheap eta movement and then start to strip the watch! most important you must have the tools and spare parts. Very easy lah. But when come to Rolex you will sweat a bit lah!.

OK, but learning watch repair in Switzerland also gives me an opportunity to explore the watch museums there...

Yes. there is watch repair course in Singapore where you learn how to dismantle, service, oiling and assemble the watch.
