The poll only allows 10 options max, so I chose the 10 teams that I feel are more likely to win.

The 6 teams excluded are Cezch Republic, Denmark, Croatia, Greece, Ireland and Russia.

Four more days to the tournament.

So far Germany is the favourite according to this poll.

I know a few local soccer fanatic who treat England as home team in international games.

I think that's natural, given that almost all football fans here follow EPL and many of them are fans of English clubs.

I support England too, but won't bet on them to win

With all the injuries woes, the expectations on England is now lower. Without the unncessary pressure, they might just be the big surprise of Euro 2012.

How come so few think spain will do well?

Anyway, I just wish to see a few good games where teams, especially in the grp of death, come out to play entertaining football.

No country in the history of Euro Championship ever managed to defend their title.

In a cup tournament like this with only 16 teams, any team can win. Once a team qualifies from the group stage, it only needs to win 3 more matches to be the champion. There were some unexpected winners in this tournamenet not too long ago - Greece in 2004, Demark in 1992.

So maybe England can win - in Chelsea style.

The ball is round and the best team in the tournament wins.

For their economical discipline, Germany derserved to be the winner... lol

I am not sure I agree that the best team always win in such a tournament. In a league where every team plays every team both home and away, then yes the best team (over the whole season) wins.

I guess few would say that Greece was the best team in the 2004 tournament, but then one could always argue what "best" means

With all the infighting in both the England and Holland teams,I will not be surprised if Spain retains the trophy.
