    unfortunately the worst has not hit spore. and now, with the madoff issue, a bigger storm beckons.

          agree. every reporter is trying to throws stories around about how bad times and things are. i myself got interviewed by media before, all the goddam questions are leading questions. eg " how badly are you affected by the recession?" instead of " are you affected by the recession? if so, can u indicate how badly?

          everybody also know in times like these, luxury goods, including watches, are not life's priorities; and its consumption would inevitably fall, dun need Reuters to tell me that.

                          i think it's a little bull....look at the pre-owned dealer's website (esp. JW)..the movements are fast...uploaded hte watch pic today..tomorrow "sold"!! so why are they complaining dun bring our blings to them? rubbish!

                            yah lor, that y take everything with a pinch of salt. economy bad also need to eat, drink sleep and enjoy. just buy less and choose carefully, take longer time but that does not mean wont buy. i go LV see ppl buy LV stuffs like buy plastic bags like that hehe

                                yah not to mention, need to Q. give them cash still must call them father haha. mostly i just walk away if i need to Q. but i realise many do really buy and not browse only, just that they took a little more time to part with their money haha.
