However, if moolah not a factor, I'll chiong for the GS450h .... superb car. 0-100 in 5.x secs!!! Plus all the luxury and refinement of the original GS300. Where to find?
not to mention the S80.. fwd the audi A6 also nicer than volvo, alas not very common. also once i drive the merc s350l........ that car was shiok!! (belong to my other uncle) seriously, the merc make the volvo look abit lacking

Hows the maintainance cost for your GS?

    Thanks for the story...nice read...really

Fierce auntie you met...actually if I can let go of the Ody...I'd go for the 5

The Merc C was in the news and hot so I had to test it. Nice drive, reasonably powerful off the stop and nippy in handling. Then, there's the E that I also tested. 2 things and I forego the Merc. 1. One of the salesperson showed me a disrespectful attitude and 2. The wait with the options I want takes 6 months.

The BMW 5 has always looked good to me. Owners I spoke to love their bimmer 5s. Went BMW on 2 occasions and both times, nobody hew me. First time was my off day, went with polo T and bermuda = nobody hew. Second time, went after a business meeting so clothed in business attire and still, nobody hew. So, I told my friend about it as she just bought a 7 series and she immediately called up her salesperson to refer me. She immediately called me after that. Though already sian half, I eng siew. Test drive day, I was upset that when trying to overtake an Ody driven by an auntie from the traffic light, I was unable to hahahaha...

Lost, desperate, no car, wanna cry liao... And then, I parked the rental Wish at a multi-storey car park and when I got out of the car, there in front of me were a black C Merc, a black Bimmer 5 and a pearl white GS. The GS caught my attention straight from the front.

Went hunting for one, tested and very happy with its acceleration, ride and comfort. The Hi-Fi was fantastic too. Best part, lots of things came with it unlike the conti ones must top up $1,800 for rear roller blind, premium Hi-Fi add $3,200 etc etc crap.

So now, pearl white GS. White? Because traditionally Prince Charming comes in a white horse hahahahaha...

I had the Legacy in mind too as I got lots of parts I can transfer over and being an ex owner, got extra discount too. But alas, felt the gearbox was a let down.
