it started when i was working near clifford pier ... where there is a old antique shop owned by a named Faruk.. if i recall its those russian 3aka3 military issued watches.. going at 30 dollars a piece... then from there went out of control.. omega, rolex..you name it...sigh... (approx 20 years now)...
