Watches nowadays are getting bigger in size and somehow finding myself look funny in watches <35mm

i feel different size for different details on the watch. like the daytona will well deserve a larger size than the sub/ex.. or the superocean cant be <40mm

44mm for me. More visibility and easier to tell time

I have 6.5" wrist. 36mm to 47mm works for me.

I dunno if anyone noticed this or if it's just me. The case diameter/ size is just one factor. It's really the sum of its parts.

    1) the case color/ material plays an important part. If it's a pvd or dlc model, 42mm will look smaller than a ss 42mm of e same model due to optical illusion. So, if it's a pvd/ dlc case, preferably at least 44mm.
    2) if the bezel is thick, the dial dial will look a bit small thus making the watch look small. E.g. The Steinhart ocean 44. Or the ennebi bronzo.
    3) a bracelet variant of the same size generally looks bigger than one fitted with straps or rubber.
