The SG Chinese will probably say something along this line... "wear it and huat ah!"

I am also very curious where the wear your watch in good health came about. I also use it sometimes cos I see people post, I also post.

One possible explanation Origin is Hebrew

The other is that this is a known Irish Blessing...

Me too. I couldn't understand what it means? Does it mean something "good" or "not too bad" or "just bad" in a nice way?Originally posted by eastsider View PostActually i wanna ask if this phrase is created here in sg-roc

Is this what it meant - you have already bought a lemon or paid high price for that watch so might as well don't be sad, stay healthy and continue to wear it?

I fully agree with the underlined statement.Originally posted by ac_wong75 View Post5. Only say good things about items shared by other member. Follow this rule if you aren’t sure how:
- If you feel it’s nice, say “Very nice!”
- If you feel it’s is so-so, say “Congrats!”
- If you feel it’s ugly, say “Thanks for sharing!”
I think not all people use the above phases in the same context that you put down. There are people who say "Thanks for Sharing" but do mean that its nice.. ... I would be more incline to think that if they watch is not nice , there is no need or feel to even comment at all. But given the above setting I will tend to now wonder about people when they put the above when I do post a pict as it does set me thinking does the guy meant it (ie its ugly).... hmmm....
At the same time, I question the mentality of expecting nothing less than praises when one shares his watches on the showcase.
