  • Where is the best chicken rice in Singapore?

My friends from Hong Kong always go to Chatterbox at Mandarin Orchard. They are all chicken rice lovers! However, they are very dissapointed with the standard comparing to 10 years ago. Now they go to Tian Tian at Maxwell but I feel that the standard drops a lot after they open so many branches.

Is there any recommendations for chicken rice from you guys?? ☺️☺️

    I have two favourites:

    1. Whampoa market (Nan Xiang chicken rice)
    2. Katong shopping centre (Delicious boneless chicken rice)

I really like SG chicken rice and I find most of them decent in hawkers/coffee shop but particularly like those two mentioned above. Go try!!!

I think Tian Tian at Maxwell is overated... I've tried it recently and it was too oily until I got a stomachache.

Wee Nam Kee is much better!

Tian Tian chicken rice at Maxwell Market for steamed chicken, and Hawker Chan at Smith Street Hawker Centre for Soy Chicken.

I think Boon Tong Kee is the best for me. Most consistent for a restaurant. Other than that, Tian Tian or Seng Kee is 2nd choice for Hawker kind of setup.
