My fav wantan mee is the 2 storey hawker center at joo chat. The stall is at B1,very nice and tasty. Better than fei fei and lavender as the 5.00 portion is too small and very expensive.

Maybe fellow brudders here can try out the Wanton noodle stall @ bendemeer food market that's facing the wet market section.
They're open from 0530hrs onward, mostly close stall before 1300hrs.
On the taste... like those typical Wanton noodle, soup taste like cooked with little amount of ikan billis and pig's bone. Soup texture looks quite clear, but still got the taste. Wanton standard typically home made, inner fillings taste well. No option for mee-pok... only mee kia. The most important star of all... the char siew... too bad only few slice, but the charcoal-ness... whoa lau ey... cannot tahan liao...

But i feel that wanton mee should go with charcoal type of char siew.

there are 2 wanton noodle stall at Tiong Bahru market> both stall is near famous lor mee (stall 168). The better one <wow have to Q at least 20min (Wah Kee) only opens wed, fri & sun.
The other stall just a few units away is also good, the cha siew is one of the best around

I will try the joo chiat one to see the difference in power

Geylang Lor 12 wanton mee is GOOD, has both with dark sauce and without! The chilli is very very nice but it only open daily from 6am til abt 2pm. I think wed close. Enjoy!

last time used to have this old woman selling at the same corner store as kay lee roast meats along paya lebar... the bowl of wonton is 50% soup, 50% wonton. if you go and add soup she even gives you more wonton. anyone knows if this store still exists? i know towards the end her son used to help out.

The chili is good, i have to admit. But I like the wanton which i find quite tasty. After 20 years she still likes it to visit the place so often
