I would recommends the "RED Star" restaurant at the Chin Shwee...This restaurant still serves the dim sum in push cart and very traditional. Be there early in the morning during the weekends as it is popular to the locals. I used to bring my family for the dim sum.

at coffee shop near tampines ave 7 they have tim sum in the coffee shop. but not very tasty. just cheap

yday went ah yat at grand pacific (groupon deal)total damaged for 2 pax, 45+10 for tea= 55, eat 20 types of dim sum till cant walk, v worth going

I went Imperial Court at Grassroots club a few weeks back on a weekday. They were having 50% off for Dim Sum. Decent Quality

Last time, Crystal Jade Palace at Takashimaya. Now, Imperial Treasure Nan Bei one floor above. If you want a more chic atmosphere, Royal China at Raffles Hotel is good but more pricey.

Avoid dim sum at Paradise group restaurants and Crystal Jade Kitchen. They are centrally made and heated up at the outlets.

Red Star standard dropped a lot, my family stopped going years ago.
