The name is Nihon Mura, but its already close due to demolition of tampines sport complex to make way for a new one.
I like Kuisin Bo in Suntec.

The jap restaurant at Miramar is gd... Lunch time always need to book in advance...

fresh sushi & unlimited servings... also gd mix of tempura etc etc...

Koh Grill & Bar is one, other than that, Itacho Sushi is decent too.

Try The Sushi Bar at Far East Plaza. One of the better and value for money chirashi around. Be prepared to queue though as with all good stuff.

Tampopo at Liang Court is still having their SG50 promotion where people over 50 yrs old get 50% off for certain items. Not over 50 there is still some discount. Had dinner there last night with my wife. Ashahi beer was 50% off!

The promotion was originally until 21 June but they extended it to 21 July. I think its quite worth it. Got a $10 return discount voucher too for total bill over $30 and use DBS CC. check out the tampopo website for the items under promotion.
