haha...no la...the story is...cuz this is my first "proper" watch and i read so much abt swiss auto works etc...den after realizing its not auto...i totally became sian.. and online not much info abt this piece as well...

its not rich at all...and this is realli a huge chunk out of my savings...haha

but guess partly my bad...cuz when i saw an IWC chrono on sale with disc...i imm jumped into it...i briefly asked the sales ppl...and was vaguely under the impression that its auto...

den suddenly realized its quartz...so heart sank alittle...but quartz mvement also gd rite? and its from iwc too......lol...must convince myself la...

Oic... I understand that feeling , think on the bright side alot of expensive watches also running on quartz, AP PP FM etc

Most importantly you must like the watch and also the story behind the brand. IWC is definately a good brand to own.

About IWC quartz movement, have to ask Deck good or not

            Sorry for the

think this thread is better moved to the IWC discussion section.

are you sure you have the correct IWC ref number?

hope you got it for a good price cos it's 5 years old by now
its a quartz stepper motor movement (IWC dont say if its in-house IWC or 3rd party supplier)

233 mechanical parts and 25 jewels. 3.7mm in height for moevment

                  hope this helps
