agree with you totally on the pvd coating. that's why i passed on an LE tempus U1 two weeks ago. just didn't like the idea that the coating could chip off upon hard impact.
yes i agree ...u buy Sinn U1 for the sub steel...now u've to worry about PVD coating and hard knocks...defeats the purpose..
Not necessary though. If you are comparing with the black one, then not likely cos' it is very different. Both colors are unique to individual tastes and some just don't like black colour watches. Also, the material used is different. Some fear that the PVD coat is subjected to higher risk of scratching and to re-coat is a chore. Just to share.

indeed now U1 is so popular rite now and everybody go for it and when de new model full black edition cums out sure som of de ppl will sell it den..
