    Hi Sev,

My sumo is running about -10s/day though. It is a hefty watch and shows alot of wrist presence.

There are two options for it, either a bracelet or rubber strap which is slightly cheaper.

    nice watch and good price!
6R15 is very accurate movement, one week only faster by 1min for my spirit.
hack and handwind, a lot better than my samurai...
how heavy is it? come with rubber strap?

    Hi,

My Seiko Diver's is the SKX007K2.

I'm looking at other Seiko's like Marine Master or the Samurai's.

I am trying to understand what is the hype all about regarding Orange Monster or those Monster series.

    Hope someone can enlighten me.

Oh btw, since a typical Seiko diver is under $300... does anyone here still get a watch winder which may cost from $150-$290 (low end type) to swing ur Seiko's?

    Cheers

hi, marine master is JDM model, not sold in Singapore.
you can get it from www.seiyajapan.com. I got my JDM seiko from him, he is very reliable and fast.
the spring drive 600MM ia exceptional beautiful, and most important, it is using spring drive movement!
    good luck for your hunt!

    Hi All,

I finally got myself a Seiko Divers 200m black face recently and loving it!

But after I came across pictures of Marine Master here, I search shops in Bras Basah and Funan & Peninisular shops but cant find them.

Anyone know where do they sell MM models locally?

    Cheers

hi, great to see many seiko fans here.

    i own 3 seikos,
1st one is a quatz chronometer alarm, it is an old model which has 5 buttons, no more in production now. use it when i'm hurry and no time to adjust my auto seiko. handsome and accurate.

2nd one is the black dial samurai auto diver, it is big and tough, use on weekends sports (dirt trail).

last one is the JDM model auto Spirit. It has high finish quality and looks gorgeous.

no rolex for me, but my wife has one.
may be i'll get the Grand Seiko one day.

some top range seiko for you guys viewing pleasure:
    http://www.galante.jp
    http://www.credor.com

range from few almost $10k to over $100k. too far from my reach...

This just arrived from a fellow WUS forummer.

It's a vintage Seiko World Time 6117-6010. It is mint condition. Take a look.

I like the Grand Seiko GMT ...
but they're horribly expensive - more than S$6k.

The MM has always been the darling of the seiko diver range but I have a soft spot for its inferior cousin, the sumo (SBDC001, cal. 6R15). Big Time watches marketed one at about $800+ from what I do know of months ago.

On the other hand, SKZ231 was love at 1st sight for my better half who had always wanted a men over-sized watch. One will never fail to see it on her wrist esp over the weekends.

Here's another permutation of the same watch. This time with a pepsi bezel insert. I didn't actually fit it. I just place this insert on top of the original to take the photo.

    See the difference?
