Mickey, you need a pin-like tool to push in from the end the arrows are indicated. Doing so, you will remove a small hollow cylinder and allow the pin to fall out the other side. Sorry, I've no idea what the actual technical terms are for these parts...

Thank you all for the reply on how to remove the pins and also Hary on the purchase of your nice strap for the samurai.

Only think now is that I need to buy a "watch tool" or "tooth pick" tool to remove the pins. (I only have the "y" tool for strap changing)

Any idea where to get and how much will one cost?
