Thanks for joining in the discussion. (i am not being sarcastic)
I am referring to the tiny metal housing that house the gas tube which was glued to the bezel. I am ok with the idea of gluing the tube to the housing. But the tiny housing came off when i was cleaning the bezel...they could spot weld it if it is not possible to machine it due to manufacturing constrains.
I think i bought the watch for its ruggedness and gluing things together especially metal to metal does not really fit the bill. From my knowledge of manufacturing process, gluing is not an ideal process for joining 2 metals together.
I am just expressing my opinions and how they can look into it, if anyone of the team is looking at this post. It is another give and take issue i believe. If they make ideal improvements then i guess my opinions are well given out and will respect the watch maker even more and patronize in future.
When I view a well made watch, I look into details.
I hope i had not made anyone upset with the above comment. =)
I noe wat you mean bro, no offence but do you know that even if the use adhesive over the gas tube on the bezel, there is an extra ring house on top of the gas tube. This is to prevent it from dropping out and in fact there is no way it will drop out. I found this out from US.
I am still satisfy with Ball's Quality of watch Cheers.....

Spacemaster Glow n Mad cow , I real crazy over ball one haha
have u tried taking the metal fasteners out and reveal the rubber thing? when u remove it, u can see the bloody metal thing. i tried to clean the bezel then the tiny metal housing for the gas tube fell off. i din even knocked hard. though i tried to align it back and fasten the whole thing...it will still fall off the next time i unscrew...

Well i would not take out the fastener as a watch is mean for either fasion wear or to like at the time so I really don't see a need to do that as long as the external looks nice.
I would think it may not be a good idea for you to do tat as this suppose to be a watch mechanian job.
Well i believe the thing will also drop out only when you remove the fastener, but wat if you dont???? Will the gas tube still drop out.
But well it is still your choice.... As watch belong to you. I have wear the mad cow for more then 2 yrs but i dont have such problem after a few hard knock on the watch.

Anyway, I just called the Service centre to find out too.
1) This part is not suppose to be removed. Gas tube will not drop out so easily but only if you unscrew the fasterner . Who will open up this?
2) The fasterner is link to the gas tube holder, definately it will drop out.
Well i am not here to argue but will I will try to justify if I felt that it isnt really tat bad. Sorry if I irritate you pls forgive me. But lets enjoy our watch bro..... It is a value for money and reliable brand. Go to the US forum, Everyone is saying good things about Ball. Don't forget Service is fantastic too.
