Is the Luminox a relaible watch? It seems they make only quartz model but the lume seems pretty good.

Where can I go to for good range of models and good discount?

    Thanks in advance.

They do have automatic series like the blackbird but of course is more pricey. Some shops will have up to 30% discount. You can try King Wah or superchrono to try your luck.

they got quite some complaints on web. manufacture defects.

i would say up budget and go for Ball instead. much better build.

Ball is almost 3x-4x(or more, lol) more compared to Luminox

if TS is looking for a daily beater, luminox should suffice imo

Yes, My quartz lumniox happens to be 1 of them that have manufacturing defects. Got it service it @ Lucky plaza but problem still comes back once in a while.

But another 2 of my colleagues have the same model, both of their Luminox are working perfectly fine.I guess its all boiled down to luck in the end.
