I seriously need advice, please help if you can.. TIA!

I recently send my watch (Cartier Tank Francaise (Small Model) to the boutique at Ion for servicing. The price turn out to be ard $760! The explaination they gave me was they need to import some parts from overseas and it will takes about 8 weeks. I was like OMG, $760 to service a watch?

Does anybody knows where else to do servicing except Cartier?

Anyway, I've check the retail price and it's going for $5600.

Do you think is advicable to just send for servicing or to sell it away?

Frankly speaking, I abit heart-pain to spend $760 for servicing.. And morever, I seldom wear this watch cos it seems abit small for my wrist..

You may like to make enquiries with few of the reputable independent watch service providers such as JW Watch, Top Hour, Cabin Time (Toa Payoh), etc. Hope it turns out well for you.
