  • Where to repair IWC Pilot Chrono

Tha crystal cracked and watch stopped functioning after a fatal fall. Sent to Richemond but the repair bill came up to almost half the price I paid for the watch. Any guy here can recommend an alternate repair. Thanks.

You can try JW watches & look for John. I dont have the address, so just google it. Sorry to hear that & good luck.

unfortunately, accordng to JW, sapphire glass is a controlled item. Meaning only replaceable by agent.

Wat you could do is get Richemont to replace the glass AFTER you repaired the watch. But first, get the quote & compare if it's cheaper to do it separately. The other way is to get the replacement glass from eBay, however do be careful & only deal with sellers that have more than 250 positive feedback. It will probably save you some money.
