I had been looking at the LACO MIYOTAs as well... i didn't know that the movement used can be hand-winded. All the while i thought that the Japanese movements are non-winding.

Sounds quite serious. Best to get it checked & fixed. There are two watch shops and a dealer selling this brand in Singapore. You may want to approach one of them for help? I recalled Gnomon Watches (Shaw Towers) and Monster Time (Far East Plaza), and Peter from De-Timekeeper. He's also one of our forum members.

    Hi bros,

wondering if anybody has this problem. I bought a Laco Miyota Type A recently from Laco website. Was running fine for the 1st few days. Then 1 day, i took out and wind it before wearing and now watch is like moving super fast. Gaining 1 hour in a 6 hours period. Meaning if i start winding the watch at 12 noon, by 6pm, it show 7pm on the watch !!!! Did i spoil the watch by overwinding ? I dun think i want to spend the $$$ to send it back to Ger for repair. Anybody can give some idea what is wrong ? thanks in advance ?

    cheers
    seabird

thanks alot! yah, that was what i read online too..but sad to say the online shop only has the special edition at 690 euros which is also sold out..
